Coupon Pouch

One thing my mom always taught me was to clip the coupons. Now, I have coupons coming out of every pocket of every coat I own, every wallet I have, every pocket of every purse, my checkbook, and all over my apartment. I decided it was time to make me a coupon pouch.

Coupon Pouch
It started off simple. I used some flexi-foam inside the pouch to give it some shape.
Then I got too lazy to change the thread color in my sewing machine and I sewed this mess:
Bad Idea
Once I saw it, I knew I had to rip it out and start over. I also realized that just a simple stitch up would not give me enough width to store all my coupons. So I re-threaded my machine:
New Thread, New Stich
And then I gave it some width on the sides. I ran out of this fabric, so I just used some green:

It looks slightly messy, but unless I'm sewing something important, like curtains or a gift, I usually get a little lazy with my technical ability.

All I need now is a button or some type of closure (possibly velcro?) and some coupons to fill this thing up! Though, I might try making a nicer one in the future.
